Principal's Message
August 21, 2024

Dear Southern Fulton Students, Families, and Community,

Welcome to another school year. It is with anticipation and excitement that we embark on yet another year here at Southern Fulton. It is amazing how time flies. As we look ahead, I have very lofty expectations and goals. We are introducing several initiatives that will drive our success not only for this school year but for the years to come. Our math department is rolling out a new curriculum with the aim to prepare our students with the tools they will need to be successful regardless of the occupation that they choose. The data-driven MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports) that has already been
implemented in the elementary is being introduced at the Junior-High level. Our highly trained and professional staff are constantly seeking professional development opportunities that will further assist our student body achieve their dreams. We are building the foundations of a lifetime that, I anticipate, will last years.

All these endeavors will not happen without the support of a community. We live in a unique area and special region. We are nestled in between the metropolis’ of Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. We are rural, and while some would think shielded, we still are subject to the problems that urban life can bring. However, unlike the cities that surround us, our rural community is supportive, caring, and close. This is Southern Fulton. I’m looking forward to another year. I’m optimistic that this year will build upon and exceed the success of the last.

Education, in general, and learning, in specific, are the hallmarks of a great society. We, together, as a community have the potential to be the model of what others would look to mimic. I have very little doubt that if we set those expectations high, we, together as a team, can achieve that end goal for the success of all our students and our school. Together, we will strive to make an already great district even better. I’m positive that through cooperation, mutual respect, and remaining future and student-focused, we can persevere.

Southern Fulton Proud; Indian Strong,

Mr. Jeremy A. Hollinshead
